THE WOMANKIND PARTY
RESOLVED: The primary goal of The Womankind Party is to create a woman-centered political agenda and run a candidate of our choosing in the 2020 presidential election on the 3rd of November, 2020. The secondary goal, and perhaps actually the most important, is to provide a safe haven for women in a small little corner of the Web, safe from dragons.
We will create a women-centered political agenda by providing on this site an open forum for discussion by women of all races, creeds, political affiliation, economic status, educational level, physical abilities and sexual preference. In time we will collectively formalize our agenda with a group consensus and begin the task of forming and politically legitimizing The WomanKind Party. In the 2020 presidential election we will elect the first woman President of the United States and her agenda will be woman-centered.
What is a woman-centered political agenda, you ask? In my opinion, a woman-centered political agenda is one in which the agenda centers around values and life events described as 'feminine' by our society. For example, a woman-centered agenda would most likely be more concerned with feeding the hungry than with engaging in wars in other countries simply because they do not have a political system like our own or it would profit us in some way such as making oil more available for our own uses. But that is only my opinion and the purpose of this site is to gather together a collective agreement on what should be a woman-centered political agenda.
A pipe dream, you say? Perhaps. But also perhaps a very potential actuality. The times have changed drastically with the evolution of the computer. We can now gather our collective knowledge, beliefs, dreams and political desires in one central web site with the simple click of the "Enter" button. Of course, we must first type our thoughts, we must think about our beliefs, we must formulate our political desires within our own minds. Our fore-mothers once gathered to quilt, but first they made a group decision on which type of quilt to make, then individually gathered the material, cut it into squares and only then eventually met at one home or another to do the actual quilting. I believe it is now possible to collectively create a political agenda in much the same way as our fore-mothers created quilts.
If you would like to be a part of collectively quilting a woman-centered political agenda and The Womankind Party, please contact Blue at rudyblue02@yahoo.com. All are welcome.
